During this challenging time, JRD's focus has been on supporting our customers, our employees and the local communities in which we operate. We have successfully avoided disruptions caused by COVID-19 coronavirus, while at the same time acted responsibly towards the prevention of further spread of the virus. We continue to closely monitor and assess the evolving situation and will be meticulous about communicating on important issues in this difficult time.
For Our Employees
JRD is committed in providing a safe environment for our employees, their families, and the communities in which we operate. Initially we suspended our operations at plant for a while and asked our non manufacturing employees to work from home, where possible to reduce transmission risks and to keep them safe. After making all safety arrangements, purchasing additional safety equipment/consumables and creating guidelines to start a safe operations environment we resumed our production.
We have restricted all international travel; domestic travel is also restricted to critical activities. All participation in exhibitions, trade shows and similar events has been restricted to online/virtual events. These restrictions are in place to reduce transmission risks and protect our workforce from a dynamic environment of government-imposed restrictions and quarantine.
We have taken Group Mediclaim, Group Term Plan, Group Personal Accident and COVID Insurance policies to support our employees and their families financially in this difficult time.
